Neceros' Character Sheets & Stuff

About my Downloads…

First, thanks for stopping by!

I’ve been doing these character sheets for some time now, but I’m relatively a new comer to this game. I’ve been making sheets since around 2007, and I’ve been trying to get better as I go. My inspiration was a couple other character sheets already out for D&D 3.5, by sunrainstudios and Mad Irishman. After that, I began to include things of my own accord and veered away from their designs to finally end up with some stuff I made up from scratch.

Most of my works have a very similar feel to them, as I tend to like very cut and clean work. I don’t use many graphics or fancy things, just plain design and easy to use. I like powerful, efficient designs that allow me to write out everything about a character, so I can read about it later on and remember why I did what I did to the character.

I use Adobe InDesign: Absolutely worth the cost! It’s my dream application, as it has everything I need to make a great document. If you haven’t, download the trial!

FAQS

What do I need to view your character sheets?
Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader (or something similar). I sometimes include layers in my designs, so you need an application that can support that. Also, most of my documents are designed with Adobe Reader 7.0 in mind.

What kind of paper should I use?
Well, that depends on you. I use 24 weight paper. You can buy 500 sheets of the stuff at Wal-Mart or Office Depot for around $5. It’s thick enough that it feels really nice, and cheap enough to use all the time. Plus, I have a laser printer — I print a lot.

Why are your sheets in Black and White?
Like I said above I use a laser printer. I’m too cheap to buy a color laser printer, and over time I just liked the look of black and white. Eventually, when I’m not so poor I may buy a color printer and start developing colored sheets. Poke me if you think I should.

Oh Em Gee, I have this idea!!
Cool. Email me about it.

How much money do you make doing this?
What’s money? If you think I should be getting some money then please, by the Gods, donate to me! :)

Hey, so can I use this stuff for my own greedy measures?!
Well, yes and no. I’ve enlisted the help of Creative Commons License for most of my work. If they say it’s cool then I say it’s cool. As to making money off my stuff — If I can’t make money off it, you can’t either! Sorry.

If you do happen to change my stuff or add to it let me know! Email me right away, thanks!
