Pathfinder RPG Source a Limited Offer

As of January 1st, 2010 I will be taking down my source code. Get it while you can!

What's that? You want my source code?!

Let me tell you a story.

Some time ago, before I knew how to make character sheets, I had a character sheet fetish that probably still persists. I liked finding new character sheets and wanted to try them all out. After a while I decided I wanted to make my own sheet, because I never could find one that was ‘just right.’ Well, eventually I found a couple sheets that I really liked — namely SunRainStudios and Mad Irishman.

I tried to get base-line source code for these files, because I pretty much liked them as is with maybe a few touch ups. Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed this code and thought to myself, “Shoot. What now?” I got a trial copy of Adobe InDesign and started to try my own out. The first take was pretty horrid; I wont lie. But soon I started taking inspiration from those I named above and learned the method of spacing, white space and took a few courses in design to further my design desires. Needless to say I purchased InDesign and still think it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made — I love this software, even if it is a little bit difficult to start out.

Now, I want to go one step further and share my designs with you! Below you’ll find a link to my Pathfinder RPG Character sheet; It comes in Adobe InDesign CS4 .indd file.

Please make sure you follow all guidelines for the creative commons license — I want to see what you guys use my work on.

Neceros’ Pathfinder RPG Sheet Source

Revised Class: The Mover

Hey guys,

I’ve revised by class writeup for the Mover class. You can view it here.

I’m attempting to keep a nice balance and fluid flow for the rules. I don’t want to have to invent any new mechanics, so I’ve changed the way weight works for your telekinetic hands. Instead of a flat weight limit based on your class level you would use your intelligence score as a strength score for carrying capacity. In addition, I’m adding a bonus to your intelligence score based on your class level as an enhancement bonus.

I hope this helps to make things a bit more simple without losing power or versatility.

Thanks to you gamers!

Updated: Pathfinder Character Sheet 1.1.1

I’ve done yet another update to my Pathfinder RPG sheet. I hope this can bring my sheet closer to perfection. ;)

  • Added armor check penalty queue to the skill list
  • Entirely redesigned the third page to be better accessible by spell casters.
  • Tweaked a few spelling mistakes and graphical errors.

Hope this makes things a little easier on you casters out there. Oh, and sorry to JamesTheBard! Hope this doesn’t set you back too far. :(

3.5 Private Sanctuary reviews Neceros

Over at 3.5 Private Sanctuary you’ll find quite a lot of good stuff. I’ve been listening to their podcasts for a few weeks now, and it’s pretty damn enlightening and entertaining. If you haven’t checked them out yet I highly suggest it.

Also, they’ve done a splendid and accurate review of my character sheets, among a few others. It’s a nice piece that was interesting to read, but I may be biased. :)

New Class: The Mover

I’ve designed this new class called the mover. It’s a telekinetic expert of sorts. I’ve tried to balance it as best as I could, so please let me know what you think of it. Thanks: The Mover

JamesTheBard + Neceros = Awesome?

Indeed it does!

Thanks to our friend JamesTheBard we now have form fillable sheets. Now, granted for the moment it’s only the front page, but I guarantee you it’s spectacular. This wonderful addition to an already awesome (float my own boat here…) sheet is made even better due to JamesTheBard (float someone else’ boat…)!

Check it out!

By the way, this little logo here has inspired my own “N” logo. Thanks to JamesTheBard again!
