I’m sorry to say that it has been decided, as explained here, that the public server will be brought down. This will happen officially on July 19th. You guys have a week to gather your things and finish anything you wanted to finish.
The map will be available for download via Torrent once the week is up.
To the right you may notice a new poll. We need your input on what mods you’d like to see available in the future! Please remember that the administration will consider your answers, but will be deciding which mods will ultimately be added. We don’t want to have a large list, because it gets confusing and difficult to support.
Red Power 2 is a definite, but I added it to the list anyhow. We want to get away from industrial craft 2 because of the sheer amount of bugs it introduces.

It’s been a while since I made one of these. Well, you guys asked for it. We have a subscriber server in the works. I have a team of builders in game building up spawn so it looks juicy for you guys.
At first, this server will be vanilla with bukkit plugins to protect it and you. Later on, though, we WILL be switching to a modded server (probably when 1.3 comes out, so you won’t need to mod your client, most likely). But that won’t happen for a while I imagine!
When the server launches we’re going to have a sign up webpage dedicated to auto whitelisting people who sign up on neceros.com. Thus, it won’t be a public server, but almost a public server.

On a side note, I’m wondering if anyone is knowledgeable about creating beats/music through software. For instance, I’ve used Fruity Loops in the past, but it’s been a long time. If you know about these things email me or leave me a comment, yo. Is there a better option?

It’s been a few weeks since my last post here, so…
I’ve put out a lot of episodes recently, so you should check them out. Among them includes videos of my let’s play, but also one of a new series I’m starting titled Minecraft Plus (Minecraft+). In this series I’ll be looking at different ways you can change the way minecraft behaves, like using mods and texture packs.

Almost immediately after I posted my last episode (modded minecraft #24) my power went out due to a snow storm. Branches were falling from the sky and literally skewing into the things on the ground, like cars, people, animals, the concrete. It was quite interesting to watch.
Unfortunately, I was in the middle of updating the server, uploading an episode, and doing other LP related things. That left the server (I suspect) unplayable. I apologize for this. I’ll get it working again.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt during the three day blackout.

We’ve been busy at work here, and I know you guys are mad that I haven’t uploaded any new videos. Well, here’s the scoop.
Right around Thanksgiving time it was decided that I was going on a week long trip. So that happened, and it drained me so much. I didn’t release many videos then because I was tired/anxious about the trip. So when I came back I said, “Ok, video time.” Then my hardware died.
My headphones just randomly stopped working. They are expensive headphones, and I was angry to see them go. And then… my mouse stopped working… mostly. On top of that my computer was unable to deal with any kind of heat at all. It seems my video card (was cheap) bottomed out and the fan stopped working. My PC was running at around 107* C, and crashed often. I could barely play minecraft.
Now, everything is changed. NEW THINGS!
In conclusion: Sorry, but I’m coming back! Also, better than I was before. New hardware, new partner with youtube, new servers to play on, and a media center I can be proud of. What do you think?
